RF microneedling in Recklinghausen

Frequently asked questions about RF microneedling
Does RF microneedling hurt?
A numbing cream is applied before the treatment. Most people feel warmth and slight tingling; on the forehead and jawline it can briefly become more intense.
How long is the downtime?
Redness and warmth like after sunburn for 24 to 48 hours, fine crusts at the needle points for up to four days. Make-up is possible from day two, sport and sauna from day three.
How many sessions do I need?
For tightening and pores usually three sessions four to six weeks apart, for scars rather four to six. The result builds over three to six months because new collagen takes time.
Who should not have RF microneedling?
We do not treat during pregnancy, with active acne or herpes in the treatment area, metal implants in the area, a pacemaker or while taking isotretinoin. We clarify this during the intake.
What does NiSV mean?
The German regulation on protection from non-ionising radiation requires proof of expertise for radiofrequency treatments. Without it RF microneedling may not be offered in Germany – we hold this certification.
